In Manitoba, lawyers in good standing are notaries by virtue of their call. The Attorney General may also appoint Notaries Public from other professions.

## Who can act as a notary in Manitoba

Practising Manitoba lawyers, members of the Legislative Assembly, judges, and individuals appointed by the Attorney General.
